Talking about Samsung smartphones it’s all about the screen. This one comes with a 6.4inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. There are no issues with that and is very fast. Also, this is not the top AMOLED screen of Samsung that is used on other flagship phones of Samsung where you can adjust the refresh rate and can go down up to 10Hz. This one is fixed at 60Hz or 120Hz. Not a big problem but it would have helped to increase battery life.

Overall, you get an excellent screen as you would expect in a Samsung smartphone. The on-screen fingerprint scanner is very fast and the front glass is Gorilla Glass Victus which has twice the scratch-resistance of Gorilla glass 6. In this price range, you usually get Gorilla glass 5 on most flagship phones. So that’s a good thing.

The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Exynos 2100 5G which is very fast and does not heat up in day-to-day tasks. Sometimes if you are using the camera for a long time it can heat up a little bit. But the same problem is with other flagship phones even iPhones. AnTuTu benchmark score is 733617.

Galaxy S21 FE comes with One UI 4 and Android 12 out of the box. It’s been optimized well so there is not much problem with the software. With 8GB RAM, memory management has been done very well.

The smartphone has a battery life of 4500mAh and the battery works together with the power-efficient display to outlast the day. Max screen time you get is from 5-6 hours which is good for a flagship-level processor. So decent battery life. You can get the phone fully charged in 94 minutes. Call quality is also good.

Samsung galaxy S21 FE 5G camera specs

Cameras are also good and it has a triple rear camera setup. 12MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP third camera. The photo quality was good with the rear camera but the front camera struggles a little bit in low light.

Realme GT 2 pro is a record-breaking flagship phone. The smartphone offers complete value for money. We get all features and performance for the price tag.

First of all, the design is great. The design has borrowed elements from Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus as it is of the same parent company and the phone has a classy look. Also, it is World’s first biopolymer design. Biopolymer which is derived from resources such as paper pulp is the material used for building the phone. Using biopolymer reduces carbon emissions during manufacturing by 35.5%.

Now let’s talk about the display. it comes with a great 2K Super Reality Display. It is the world’s First 2K Flat Display with LTPO 2.0. Also, the refresh rate is 120Hz. The phone has a Super AMOLED display which provides deep contrasts, it supports true 10-bit colors which enables to display more range of colors, and its QHD+ resolution to display more pixels. Touch responsiveness is amazing and overall the display is really great.

Talking about the performance, it is a beast. AnTuTu benchmark score is over 1 million. The processor is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 making Realme GT 2 pro to be the first phone with the next-generation processor. The gaming experience is really good although the phone heats a little bit during high intensive games playing sessions for a long time. Core CPU temperature is kept at a healthy level by the Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling System Max.

Cons of the phone are in the software. The software experience is a bit underwhelming. Some menus in the core apps don’t support the phone’s 120Hz refresh rate so you will feel jittery as you move between them. Another thing that cheapens the experience is the recommended apps right in the home. Bloatware is not installed on the phone as it is a flagship. Software updates are in 3 years.

Despite all this, the software also provides some good premium features. It has settings that you have never thought of and the inbuilt apps like weather have a premium experience.

Realme GT 2 pro camera view

In some conditions, the cameras also fall in the cons section. The camera keeps up with other flagships but in low light conditions, it falls behind.

But the camera is good too. There are so many options available like movie mode which shoots in a cinematic aspect ratio, street photography which gives more information like how far away the subject is, dual view video which records two separate videos at once, microscope mode which uses the little third 2MP camera and two flash modules to shoot in 40 times magnification and many other including the 150-degree ultra-wide mode.

The phone’s battery is a massive 5000mAh battery and has 65W SuperDart Charging.

Overall the phone is a great fit on the best budget flagship smartphone list.

3. OnePlus 9RT 5G

Price: ₹ 42,999

OnePlus 9RT has been launched in India on February 17, 2022 . The was released after OnepPlus 9 and OnePlus 9R.

OnePlus have got pretty good flagship phones in the price range of under 50000. So here it is, the OnePlus 9RT 5G in our list of best smartphones under 50000. The experience of using a OnePlus phone is something else. I am personally a big fan of OnePlus.

So without further due, here are the specifications of the OnePlus 9RT.

Flick-detect Sensor

The phone has a good display and a 120 Hz AMOLED screen. The screen size is 6.4 inches. so it is neither big nor small. In direct sunlight, the display is very bright and you can see everything clearly. This is an 8-bit panel, not a 10-bit panel. Most other flagships in this price range have started giving 10-bit panels. But that’s not a problem as you won’t notice. Screen quality, touch responsiveness, and the on-screen fingerprint sensor is good.

OnePlus 9RT 5G - processor specs

The next thing is Operating System. When it was launched, it was Oxygen OS. But the new OnePlus phones basically have color OS. This phone comes with Android 11 out of the box and you will receive the next 3 android updates which are android 12, 13, and 14. As always you will get the OnePlus good user experience. There is not much bloatware installed. Only standard apps like Netflix, Spotify, and some OnePlus-specific apps are installed. So the OS is good.

Now the build quality is good. The back is made of glass and does not get fingerprints on the hacker black color phone. It is not plastic like Samsung and it gives a premium experience. It also has an alert slider like another OnePlus phone.

The phone has 8 bands of 5G and the Wi-Fi reception is really great.

The processor is Snapdragon 888 and is a very fast processor. You won’t have any issues with day-to-day tasks and even high processing tasks.

The slightly gets warm while doing the processor-intensive task but it never gets that much hot.

For typical day-to-day usage, the battery life is decent, and no problem with that. Some people have complained about weird battery draining issues with some units but most of them are good. You get a screen on time of 5-5½ hours which is neither bad nor good. Again this is using Snapdragon 888. If you want 10 hours of screen on time, you will have to go for the mid-range phones with Snapdragon 778. Also, it comes with a fast charger so the battery is not an issue.

The camera is decent but in some scenarios, it falls a bit. The camera is pretty good and most of you might like it but compared with another smartphone in this price range, it’s a little backward.

This phone has a stereo speaker and the stereo balancing is not done very well. Some of you might notice it.

4. Asus ROG Phone 5s 5G

Price: ₹ 55,999

Asus ROG Phone 5s was launched in India on February 15, 2022. For gaming, the phone is very good and has a great experience. As it is made for gaming it will have all specs and processors of high end and the day-to-day tasks won’t be an issue.

The phone’s price is a little above 50,000 but it provides value for the money. You will get a good phone with max performance.

The phone has a big and quality screen for good media and gaming experience. The display is a 144Hz AMOLED screen and has a size of 6.79inch. For gamers, this phone is the best. With its amazing specs and processing power, you can run any game on its highest setting smoothly. The brightness can go up to 1200 lits. As a gaming phone, the display is highlighted. it is very fast and has fast touch responsiveness.

Asus ROG Phone 5s 5G - storm white design

It comes with a Snapdragon 888+ processor and in the previous phone Asus ROG 5, the processor was Snapdragon 888. So a slight upgrade there.

Battery life is not a problem with this phone. Asus ROG Phone 5s 5G comes with a massive battery of 60000mAh capacity. So you can use your phone at a higher refresh rate and still battery won’t drain that easily. For typical usage, you will get a screen on time of 8 hours with continuously using GPS and stuffs like that.

The Haptic vibration motors are very good. Gamers will like that very much. The in-display fingerprint sensors are very fast and responsive.

The speakers are crazy loud. One of the loudest speakers. We get a stock android experience using the phone. Stereo speakers are balanced very well and will give a good experience.

You have the option to use the maximum capacity of the processors. And also it has some gaming mode options that will give you the best gaming experience by optimizing everything automatically.

AnTuTu Benchmark score is 819452. With the GameCool 5 cooling system on the phone, heating is very well managed. Even while playing high-end games with the highest settings, heating is not a problem.

For day-to-day tasks, you won’t have any problem with this phone.

The camera is decent. But if you are buying this phone specifically for the camera I won’t recommend it. For taking pictures and posting on social media etc.. it will do the job.

Asus ROG Phone 5s 5G is definitely a heavy phone. It is 238 grams. So you will have to get used to it.

5. Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G

The smartphone has a good AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is super smooth and fast. A small problem is that the brightness can only go up to 700 lits whereas most flagship phones have above 1000 lits. So in direct sunlight, you will have to tilt it a little bit to see the screen. It’s not a big issue. It is one of the smoothest fluid experiences that you get.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G- side view

OS is completely stock Android. No bloatware or junk apps installed. The overall experience of using the phone is good. They have some cool gestures like if you do a double chop, the flashlight will turn on. Many smartphones in this price range are putting bloatware but in this one no bloatware or ads.

In hand feel is great and it does not feel that heavy for a 6.7-inch screen. It just weighs 196g. The back is actually glass, not plastic. Plastic gives a cheaper experience. And also fingerprints do not appear on the back.

Battery life is pretty decent. It has a 4800mAh battery. With typical usage, you will get a screen on time of 5-6 hours.

You can play hight end games in the highest setting and you won’t have a problem. Again this smartphone comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. AnTuTu benchmark score of Motorola Edge 30 pro is 974,272

The speakers are really good and the sound quality is good.
